A Trap for Fairies[]
Intro/Recap[]
Narrator: After conquering Cloud Tower castle, Valtor unleashes a witches attack against Alfea. The fairies repelled the attack, but Headmistress Faragonda disappears during the fight against the sorcery.
Scene: Mirta's Dorm[]
- Mirta is looking at a picture of her and Lucy.*
Mirta: Oh Lucy, why did you attack us? What made you do it?
- She looks out the window, pondering.*
Scene: Alfea Central Courtyard[]
- The Winx are heading out to find Faragonda.*
Griselda: Good luck, girls!
Bloom: Okay guys. Faragonda and Valtor were last seen heading in that direction.
Flora: So they flew toward the center of Gloomy Wood Forest? That's a pretty big place!
Tecna: In a case like this, a random search has a very low rate of success.
Musa: Well, we've got to start somewhere. Let's go, come on!
Bloom: Wait a minute! Where are the pixies?
Layla: I don't know. I told them we were doing some detective work and they all just disappeared.
- The pixies arrive. Tune is dressed as a police officer.*
Chatta: Okay, you're upset.
Tune: We're sorry to have kept you waiting, girls.
Chatta: Let's follow the clues to Faragonda.
Scene: Cloud Tower[]
Stormy: Can you believe what those loser fairies managed to pull yesterday?
Darcy: Don't worry, we'll soon get a chance to pay them back.
Valtor: Those Winx girls are bound to show up here soon.
Stormy: And when they do, we'll be there waiting for them.
Icy: Let us deal with them. They'll end up wishing they had handed Alfea to us on a plate.
Valtor: Urgh! Those fairies didn't ruin my plan, you did!
Icy: But Valtor, there was absolutely nothing we could do about it.
Valtor: That's okay, I shouldn't have expected anything from a bunch of amateurs.
Stormy: Hey!
Valtor: I need someone with real ability. Just one person whom I can share all my of my power...
Darcy: Just one?
Icy: To-to share your power?
- Valtor is watching Griffin through his crystal ball.*
Valtor: Anyway do you think you're capable of keeping an eye on Griffin for me?
Icy: Yes, of course, we've got it covered.
- Valtor grins.*
Scene: Gloomy Wood Forest[]
- Musa, Layla, and Stella are in their Enchantix forms while Bloom, Tecna, and Flora are in their Magic Winx forms.*
Musa: Hey, look over there!
- Half of the forest is destroyed.*
Bloom: Whoa, it must have been quite a battle. Lockette, can you detect Faragonda's presence?
Lockette: Ohhh, I'm sorry, I don't feel good.
Digit: Valtor's spells have left a residue of dark magic, scrambling Lockette's receptors.
Flora: Uh, Bloom, let's not push Lockette. The forest should be able to help us. Follow me!
- The others follow Flora.*
Flora: Just give me a few seconds.
Bloom: Okay Flora, is it time? Are the woods ready to talk to you?
Flora: I think so. Everyone stand back! Nature's Symphony!
- A bluster of wind and leaves surround Flora.*
Musa: That sound, it's like...music.
Flora: It's the voice of nature.
- Flora finishes her listening.*
Bloom: Flora, what has just happened?
Flora: These trees witnessed the battle between Valtor and Faragonda.
Bloom: No way.
Stella: It can't be.
Flora: Miss Faragonda is alive!
Musa: So what happened to her?
Flora: The trees couldn't bring themselves to watch. They were too scared.
Bloom: The trees were scared of Valtor?
Musa: Is that even possible?
Flora: When it was all over, Valtor flew off in that direction.
Bloom: But that way is...
Musa: Cloud Tower.
Scene: Outside Cloud Tower[]
- Mirta comes out. She sees a few silhouetted figures.*
Mirta: Oh no, the Trix!
- Mirta ducks.*
Musa: I have never been so insulted in all my life!
Mirta: Oh, you! It's you! I'm so relieved!
- Flora hugs Mirta.*
Flora: Oh, Mirta. What are you doing here?
Mirta: I'm so worried about Lucy and the other witches. I need to find out what happened to all of them!
Stella: Well, we can help you.
Bloom: But stay close to us. Because if Valtor's around, it'll be more dangerous than ever.
- The Winx Club and Mirta walk inside Cloud Tower.*
Scene: Gloomy Wood Forest[]
Tune: Perhaps it's time to widen our search area.
Chatta: If we put some distance between us and the battleground, I think it would give Lockette a chance to use her powers.
Digit: Good idea, but let's keep an eye out for clues along the way.
- The pixies begin the search party. Lockette sighs. Tune is observing the log with her notes. Piff is looking around with her magnifying glass and a caterpillar passes by.*
Piff: Toota!
- Piff follows the caterpillar. Digit shakes a test tube. Amore walks around with a magnifying glass. Chatta does the same thing.*
Chatta: Fascinating.
- Amore and Chatta run into each other and end up walking straight to the air.*
Amore and Chatta: Oh! Huh?!
- The two pixies fall into the ground. Lockette screams.*
Chatta: What's wrong?
Lockette: The Ligers! Over there!
- Ligers approach to the pixies.*
Scene: Hallways[]
Bloom: Strange. Cloud Tower seems deserted. Where did everybody go?
Scene: Witches' Dorm[]
- Bkoom opens the door. The other girls follow her. They gasp. There is a bunch of witches lying down in their beds.*
Bloom: Oh no!
- Tecna takes out a gadget and presses a button. The gadget flies over to one of the witches and scans her before returning to Tecna.*
Tecna: They're alive I think.
Bloom: You think?
Tecna: They're under a powerful spell which has put them in some kind of suspended animation.
Flora: But why?
Tecna: You know. To regenerate all their magic powers, so they can fight again.
Mirta: It's terrible.
Musa: There are more over there.
Scene: Bedroom[]
Mirta: But Lucy's not here
Bloom: We'll find her, Mirta.
Scene: Hallways[]
Layla: Whoa! Did you hear that?
Bloom: No I heard something too.
- All the dorm doors disappear.*
Stella: Oh no!
Musa: Oh my gosh, we're trapped!
Bloom: Everyone stay close together.
Scene: Gloomy Wood Forest[]
Digit: This isn't good. Those are Wild Felanors. They find pixies very tasty.
- Lockette cowers.*
Tune: Perhaps a hasty retreat is in order.
Chatta: No, stay still. They'll pounce if we move an inch.
Amore: Hey, I've got an idea. Love Explosion!
- Amore throws a ball of energy at the Felanors. The pixies are being licked by them.*
Chatta: You got 'em!
Amore: Now all they have in their hearts is love.
Lockette: Really? Oh, so very cute.
- Pixies giggle.*
Scene: Hallways[]
Musa: No one caught the teachers.
Tecna: Looks like Valtor has made a clean sweep around here. Even Ediltrude and Zaratustra are under his control now.
Stella: Well then, let's not waste any time.
- She jumps in the air.*
Bloom: Magic Winx!
- Bloom, Flora, and Tecna transform into Magic Winx.*
Layla and Stella: Enchantix!
- Layla, Stella, and Musa go into their Enchantix forms. The lights go out.*
Stella: Here's a decorating tip! Soft light cuts down on ugly shadows and enhances the look of any type of complexion, honey!
- Mirta gives her a thumbs up.*
Stella: Plus, it prevents them from hiding in dark corners.
Layla: Plasma Magic Bolt!
Musa: Their battle skills are too advanced for one-on-one combat.
Layla: In that case, I say we hit them with a convergence spell.
Ediltrude (Monster Form): Excellent idea, fairy.
- Zarathustra and Ediltrude both combine their shots to create a bigger blast.*
Layla: Convergence! Rubber Chord Bounce!
- Musa and Layla spin around and deflects the attack on the two witches.*
Musa: Strike!
Bloom: All right! Well done, girls!
Scene: Griffin's Office[]
Icy: Listen! We should be the ones who get to finish off the Winx!
Valtor: Don't you three have something else to do? Didn't I give you an order?
Darcy: But it's a waste of our dark talents to have us on guard duty for Miss Griffin.
Icy: That's where the action is!
- Icy points at the crystal ball where Mirta is.*
Stormy: I don't believe it! Even that loser Mirta is there.
Valtor: What? Do you know that girl?
Darcy: She used to to study at Cloud Tower before moving to Alfea. Weakling.
Valtor: Well ladies, perhaps the weakling can be turned into their weak link. Tell me all about this Mirta.
Scene: Hallways[]
Stella and Musa: Convergence! Song Bird Sleep!
- The other two witches fall asleep.*
Stella: Six against two, is that unfair?
- Monsters retreat.*
Zarathustra: Fools, you won't be gloating for long.
Bloom: Alright, that ought to do it.
- Another door is added to the wall.*
Stella: Nice work girls. Shall we move on with our search?
Bloom: Yeah, let's keep going. The hall seems to have returned to normal.
Scene: Bedroom[]
- Mirta gasps.*
Flora: Mirta, which way? Mirta?
Mirta: Lucy!
Tecna: No, it's a trap!
- Mirta is zapped. Valtor towers right over her.*
Scene: Hallways[]
Flora: Mirta, no!
Bloom: Valtor!
Valtor: You would think that these fairies enjoyed falling into my traps.
Stella: Is that the best you can do, Valtor? Light Waves!
- Valtor knocks Stella's spell down with two fingers.*
Valtor: Too late, fairy. You have just been hit with a negotiation spell. Your convergence magic will no longer work.
Musa: We'll see about that!
Layla, Musa, and Stella: Convergence!
- The three Enchantix fairies are about to do a convergence, but get a big recoil instead.*
Bloom: Stella are you okay?
Stella: Yes. It's time for plan B, girls!
- All six fairies charge at Valtor.*
Valtor: Now I'll show you what I've got. Magic Meltdown!
- The girls jump out of the way. Valtor's spell leaves a hole in the floor. He goes through the lower floor.*
Scene: Auditorium[]
Valtor: Well, those foolish girls never did have a chance.
Stella: Up here Valtor!
Valtor: Remarkable!
Musa: Thought you'd finish us off, didn't you?
- The Enchantix girls use their powers on Valtor.*
Stella: Bullseye!
- Layla sends a beam towards Valtor, but Valtor stops it with his powers.*
Valtor: Well done Winx, but you're forgetting that Cloud Tower is under my control.
- Huge hands grow out of the wall and grab the three fairies.*
Scene: Hallways[]
Tune: Boy, these oversized kittens sure demand a lot of attention.
Chatta: We can't stay here all day. We've got to get going.
Amore: But Felanors are very fickle. They might get angry if we stop petting them.
- Piff and Lockette are sitting at the Felanors' heads.*
Lockette: Oh no!
Amore: Uh, what do you think?
Chatta: I think Piff's a genius.
- Chatta moves Piff from one Felanor's head to the next, and then Piff flies over to the other one.*
Chatta: Now we should be far enough from Valtor's magic. Are you ready Lockette?
- Lockette and Chatta take off their coats. Lockette takes out her key to point at a direction.*
Lockette: Faragonda is this way!
Scene: Auditorium[]
Ediltrude (Monster Form): There is a disturbance in the dungeons. Griffin is trying to escape.
Valtor: I thought I'd told the Trix to guard her.
Zarathustra (Monster Form): You want us to find them?
Valtor: No no, I'll deal with Griffin. The Winx are no longer a threat anyway. You finish them off.
Bloom: Come on girls...
Musa: Get back... Sound Wave.
- She does a weak spell at Gerbera.*
Flora: We can't find them.
- Musa slumps down, and Ediltrude knocks her over.*
Layla: Musa! Ouch! What was that?
Tecna: It must be from Valtor's spell.
Bloom: So get didn't really block convergence, only our ability to touch one another.
Stella: Well then, let's try it from a distance. It'll be more complicated...
Musa: ...but at least we stand a chance.
- The monster closes in and Winx go airborne.*
Layla: Alright let's position ourselves. Enchantix Convergence! Rainbow Connection!
- The rainbow energy flows between the three Enchantix girls before flowing down to the monsters and witches, and it sends them away. Another hand pops up from the ground.*
Bloom: No! Everybody run!
Scene: Hallways[]
Tecna: Take a left!
Stella: We can't keep this up!
Mirta: Girls, over here!
- Mirta jumps into the mirror.*
Flora: Mirta!
Stella: Go!
- The Winx head to the mirror with Mirta.*
Scene: Tunnels[]
Mirta: We're in the tunnels under the tower. They're not connected to it, so we should be safe.
Flora: Maybe, but we still don't know what happened to Faragonda.
- The seven see a bright light emanating from one of the rooms.*
Scene: Prison[]
- Valtor is increasing the lockup spell on Griffin.*
Valtor: I've just increased the strength of your lockup spell. Now you'll never be able to escape.
- He disappears. The girls head over to the cell.*
Mirta: Miss Griffin!
Bloom: Miss Griffin, what happened?
Griffin: Valtor locked me in here and used a powerful spell.
Bloom: Don't you worry, we'll get you out of here.
Griffin: Don't be foolish, because even if you could open the cell, it would tip off Valtor as to where you are.
Mirta: Miss Griffin, we can't leave you here. Plus you can help us find Miss Faragonda.
Griffin: What, Faragonda is missing?
Bloom: She lost this major battle against Valtor, but we think she got away.
Griffin: I'm glad to hear that another member of the Company of Light is still standing.
Bloom: Miss Griffin, so it's true. You were a member of the Company of Light.
Griffin: Never mind that. You must hurry and search out the great Vault Monsters that roam about these tunnels.
Bloom: I don't understand.
Griffin: As guardians of Cloud Tower, they hear everything within these walls. They may have heard what happened to Faragonda.
Scene: Gloomy Wood Forest[]
Chatta: Lockette, how close is Faragonda?
Lockette: Um I'm not really sure.
- Piff is sleeping and is about to go in the oak tree.*
Amore: Piff!
Lockette: What happened?
Digit: Your magic key thinks Faragonda's in this oak tree.
Lockette: Whoops, I must have messed up. I dunno... there's something strange here.
Digit: I'd better analyze it.
Lockette: Be careful, Digit. It could be one of Valtor's traps!
Digit: I wonder what this is... Aah!
Scene: Halls[]
Mirta: There's an exit up ahead.
Stella: And who's that, the doorman?
- A horse headed monster shows up.*
Musa: It's one of the vault guardians.
Tecna: Uh, make that two of them. Look!
- Another vault guardian, who looks like a spider crawls down.*
Flora: Miss Griffin said they could help us out.
- The spider guardian attacks.*
Bloom: Flame Shield!
Tecna: Energy Barrier!
Musa: How are we supposed to reason with all these monstrosities?
Tecna: We can't. Look!
- Tecna points out that one of the vault monsters has the mark of Valtor.*
Bloom: It's the mark of Valtor!
Musa: The other's got one too!
- The two monsters attack with their breaths. Tecna puts up her shield again.*
Bloom: Now what? They're supposed to help us out, but we can't remove the mark.
Layla: That's not quite true. There is a way. Fairy dust might help break Valtor's spell.
- Layla uses her fairy dust on the monsters.*
Mirta: Headmistress Griffin sent us to find you. We need your help.
Horse: You freed us from Valtor. We owe you a debt.
Spider: Anything you want.
Bloom: We need to know what happened to Miss Faragonda. Can you help us?
Scene: Gloomy Wood Forest[]
Horse (in the background): Valtor's spell trapped the old one in the forest.
Spider: Yeah, locked her away, sealed her in a naughty, mighty oak tree!
Tune: Willians and sprites!
Winx: Bye, Mirta!
Mirta: Bye! Be careful, alright?
Flora: Don't worry about us! Just make sure Griselda knows what's happening.
Bloom: The pixies are waiting. Let's go!
- A mysterious person is watching the Winx. The fairies approach Faragonda in the tree.*
Bloom: No! Miss Faragonda.
Musa: So it is true.
Flora: Hold on...
- She touches the tree.*
Flora: It is her.
Stella: Transcombined with a tree? Wizgiz will have her out in no time.
Flora: It's not so simple. This oak tree grew from an acorn around Faragonda.
Bloom: It grew around her?
Flora: Yes, and her life force is mixed in with the trees.
Layla: So we can't hurt it without hurting her.
Tecna: There's no spell against that in our databases.
Flora: It's ancient hibernation magic... very rare.
Bloom: We've got to do something, after everything she's done for us.
Musa: Yeah, I mean what's so special about hibernation magic?
Flora: It has unknown secret qualities.
Musa: Miss Faragonda, I don't know if you can hear me, but don't worry. We will save you.
Flora: That's right! You've taught us everything about magic. We'll break the spell, you'll see.
Bloom: If I made it this far as a fairy, it's all thanks to you. I'll stop at nothing to set you free.
Tecna: We're all with Bloom.
Layla: Miss Faragonda, you've helped all of us. Now we're going to return the favor.
Scene: Griffin's Office[]
Icy: Little Bloom and her pathetic fairy friends.
Stormy: I'll make them pay, I'll do it myself.
Darcy: Icy and Stormy will never guess what I'm planning to do.
Icy: And then Valtor...
Trix: ...will be all mine.
- Trix laugh.*
Ending[]
Narrator: To save Faragonda, the Winx are going to run a race against the clock in search of the Black Willow in the faraway kingdom of Linphea. Only the Winx can do it and only the Trix can stop it.
