The first new is I updated – just simply think I make some changes on that, k :D – my friendlist :P, and my dearest gallery =]]!!! Via this blog, I want to say that I’ll not accept any request for my friendlist… but there’re still some exceptions and I can’t tell ya :P! Sort the gallery – my family + pets’ pictures will be the first place instead of the last place, and remove + add some content :D! Mermaid Melody & Mew Mew Tokyo’s transformation pictures will be uploaded soon… But Pokémons’ pictures are uploaded :P! I just wonder should I add Mermaid Melody & Mew Mew Tokyo’s pictures to Sailor Moon + Winx Club wall on my dA??? ‘Cause I voice for some characters in those series… It’s too miss that Berry-chan and Ringo-chan do not appear in the anime ~>_<~!!! I really want to voice for Berry-chan like I can voice for Zakuro-chan… and Ringo-chan is cool, like Mint-chan :)!
My to-do list (well, I hope you can find ‘em for me, but if you can’t, thanks for your ideas anyway): ChibiUsa-chan’s full transformation clip, or SM episode 129 of Japanese version; the larger version for the 3D movies of Winx (I want to take some pictures but they does not reach the size I need @@!)… All of ‘em should be in HD or good quality, I don’t think I’ll prefer the SD quality like the quality of the new trailer of 5th season of Winx Club. Give me the link if you have. Thanks… Any requests will be asked laterly (if I have).

And I'll make new userboxes for you guys, hope you guys will enjoy ‘em… Minus 4 new userboxes – friendly, shopping, technology & sports, the brand-new userboxes are in the groups of powers & relationships… For “powers”, we’ll have Bloom’s, Stella’s, Layla’s/Aisha’s, Tecna’s & Roxy’s powers.
For “relationship”, we’ll have Sky & Bloom, Brandon & Stella, Riven & Musa, Timmy & Tecna, Nabu & Aisha… Roxy’s fans will have to wait ‘till Roxy finds out who is her true love =))!!! That’s what Fatimah and I were expected :P! We think David will be Roxy’s boyfriend but I laterly found out David’s VA is just a 9-year-old boy LOL!!! Whatever! Who know this is true or false? I think David will be an important character, ‘cause Alejandra refused to let me know about him :D!
So, sums up… The userboxes are… um… not much… but they are can prove some of yours personalities, habits & hobbies… I’ll make more for you guys but you guys have to use ‘em – public userboxes – not private ones. And like I warned before, no private userboxes or there’ll be lots of punishments!
Some users keep using private userboxes, not because they want to spam the rule, but because they don’t know about the list of userboxes or how to use ‘em… First, click on Winx Wikia logo :D, I believe that it’s easy to find. Ah, you’re now on the main page of Winx Wikia :P! Then, look at the line that have “TALKBOXES, USERBOXES & SIGNATURES’ PROBLEMS”. There’ll be a blue text near ‘em, just click on that, and then you guys will find what you guys are expected for. But using private userboxes, even they don’t know or they know, are foul without any excuse… And like I mentioned in my last blog, Fatimah and I are the last exception!
And I think I find my Mr. Right :D!!! Ok ok ok!!! I admit!!! That’s the guy I mentioned in my last blog… Phew… it’s not easy to accept/agree with him letting our relationship goes further. I think we’d be special friends first, blah blah blah… That costed my golden time LOL, but… well… he makes me feel really safe when I’m around him, and I also like him :x, and that’s what I need :D! One more random is he voices for Tuxedo Kamen now :P, and if you watch the anime series in Japanese, you’ll see there’s an episode Rei tries her best to get Mamoru’s attention, and they laterly date, but break up later @@! Of course Rei really likes Mamoru, but when she knows that Usagi is Princess Serenity and Mamoru is Prince Endymion, and Usagi also really likes Mamoru, she decides to break up with Mamoru, gives Usagi a chance to be together with her true love from the past life :D! And even Rei-chan agrees to break up, there’re still many funny things make Usagi be jealous or mistaken about Rei & Mamoru’s relationship, and Rei still spends many carer for Mamoru :D!
The final news (for people in here!!!) is that I wasn’t active in FB for a really long time and I just rarely be there to answer the message from my friends, so don’t expect me accept your f/r (friendship request)… Except I’m the one who send f/r to you, otherwise don’t expect that ‘cause I will deny ‘em all… from now! New pet?
Sure! It’s so miss that I have to give my chocolate-colored hedgehog for another person – even I don’t want!!! – and I was very upset for a extreme long time :(! I saved some money and now they’re enough to buy another hedgehog. I won’t buy the chocolate-colored one, but I’ll buy the pepper’n’salt-colored one :D! A male guy :D! Aww!!! Can’t stop this exciting :D! When he’s at home, I’ll take his picture :D! And I’m so sorry that I can’t upload picture about Betty – my dear kitty :D! – and my cousin :P! My uncle borrowed me the reading head for memory card of my cell phone (and he still not give it back for me :((!) so I’m unable to do that… But don’t worry, I’ll do that ASAP!!! And both of them are guys, and they’re cute :D!
AAA, I also want to tell you my beloved cactus is blossoming :D! Alright, alright! I know what you guys think. “You said you have some Flora’s personalities, so why you just only have 1 plant, and that is a cactus? You hate plants and gardening, huh?”, right? I am sorry, but the truth is not like that. This is the first cactus I have the premission of gardening – cultivating/planting/growing it, watering for it, and taking pictures for it, of course =]]!!! In fact, my family garden contains plants, and they’re flowers, fruits, evengreens, and some herbals (remedy). I’d love to share their pictures with you guys ‘cause most of them belong to me, but it’s too easy to reveal where do I live so I will not do that :D!
IDK about plants’ gender, but I think my cactus is “she”, this is my logic after all :P! Let’s think, Laurel (Aprilynne Pike’s novel’s character) blossoms ‘cause she’s a (girl) faerie, means just (female) plants and (girl) faeries can blossom, so my cactus is a girl LOL! You want to know how my dear cactus looks like? Well… “She” is the cactus version of the pineapple plant :D! And her orange – pink/peach-colored flowers stand up like they want to reach for the sky :D! Cute, right? Pictures (“her” + “her” flowers) are captured, but in the day I captured (August 3rd) was cloudy so the pictures are a bit dark, sorry… Pictures will be uploaded ASAP – with the same reason above :((!

Home sweet home :D!
OK!!! Before you guys read about the season 5 & its “meanings” to me, read this before that :D! So… some of you may wonder, what am I doing when I’m inactive? Okay, I am now extreme lazy, and many sad things happened to me, they’re like the big shocks to me… I feel like I lost in the ocean and there’s no pickets around for me to hold… I’m at home, watching animes, cartoons, Korean drammas – totally awesome – and films, reading books, novels, comics, mangas, ect… eating ice cream, ice :D! and drinking chocolate, coffee, milk, coke (coca-cola, understand???)… And summer fruits like watermelons, sugar canes, ect… are totally awesome :D! Ohh!!! How I love the life :D! The endless sweetness… I’m melting in that :P!
I’m now writing a fantasy/magical novels about fairies, witches, angels, mermaids and humanimals – how is my pun =]]? – and I admit that I borrow some ideas from Winx Club, Sailor Moon, Mermaid Melody & Mew Mew Tokyo. And some come from my friends’ (in dA) pictures… Um… And I’m doing the sketches for Veronica. Having so much ideas now :P! But I can’t promise that I can do the digital color & sketch for her or not ‘cause I’m still not really good with those stuffs :P!
Still having so much fun on voicing :D! I’m now on Mermaid Melody project but Karen still not appear in these recently episodes, I’m free :D!!! But she’ll appear in the episode of August 17th LOL! Aww!!! Romantic novels, Korean drammas full with romantics and fun… My great boy has agreed watching them with me *huray*!!! Oh my! My mom will be super angry :D! I completely forgot studying Japanese LOL!!! And I’m online on this day ‘cause it’s Freaky Fab 13, a “good day” in monster world of Monster High, a great day for MH’s fans know about news/new informations :D!!! And I promise I’ll be here on every Freaky Fab 13 days :D!!!
I have more time to do my own stuffs, but it’s a bit inconvenient when there’s no Internet @@, and I miss you so much, my dear friends… Even we have the fights, I still want to say that “I love you!”… I’m a moody girl, so I can’t promise that I can keep my mood always in the best form… Sometimes I’m upset, sometimes I’m tired, sometimes I’m stressed… but sums up, if those emotions hurt your feelings in anyway, I’m so sorry, and… we’re still friends, right *holding hands*?
I appreciate what you girls – Jane, Fatimah, Brittney, Sarah, Tiff,… – did for me… I’ll never forget that… And wonderful admins around here, like Sorrel, Roxy, Kool Princess :D! You girls are the best! You always help me when I’m in trouble – and at these time all thing I do is ran away @@ – cheer me up, talk to me, and listen to me :D! You know? I don’t have much friends in the real life, and I also have the opposite personalities when I’m in the real life, ‘cause after all, those people – in the real world – hate me, so why I have to force myself being friends/friendly with them?
It’s feeling so great to be your friend, your admin xD, even I don’t like the way I have a bit more power :D, but that “power” help me a lot :D! One more thing, when you girls are in VN, don’t forget to tell me… I’ll take you girls to the place I and my friends often “nosh” LOL! Transformations :P!
Before talk about 5th season, I want to talk about my carer along with characters, transformation sequences :D! First is believix – my most favorite transformation through out the series… well… so far is currently :P! Just take a look on the picture on your right hand.
Even I admit that the transformations for guys aren’t cool after all – like the transformation of Tuxedo Kamen in the live-action of Sailor Moon… Aww! Luckily that my grandmother didn’t watch the special acts with us, otherwise she’ll force us to stay away from Sailor Moon :((! – I still want to see how the specialist transform or change their outfits to their uniforms.
As I notice on the other magical series, I can see that the major character(s) earn(s) minor role(s) in a (few) season(s) has/have their own transformation sequence. I want to say that Diaspro isn’t have any important roles through out 3 first seasons, but her transformation does appear, while Mirta is a rescue character, and she appears not just only in the 3 first seasons but also the movie, but her transformation does not exist/appear.
That’s called unfair… And the mermaids – like Princess Tressa, she’s the Winx ally in 3rd season… And her appearances are too less to have a transformations but… well… so far since the news that season 5 would have 2 transformations: Harmonix & Sirenix, they’re both have something… underwater… many fans was expected a transformation for mermaids.
And the pixies have their “Pop Pixie” series… Godness, I don’t understand why we have to include the Pop Pixies’ parts into our wikia @@! This is the Winx Club Wikia, not the Pop Pixie Wikia, even they both have the same creator(s) >.<! They have their awesome transformations… and now we found out the brand-new magical creatures called “piscex” & “selkies”… Will we have “Pop Piscex” or “Pop Selkies” and add the “Pop-“ things to our wiki, again? I’m not trying blaming anyone via this section, I just feel that quite lame, after all… And some parts are ridiculous, ‘cause Pop Pixie Wikia is not our sister wikia, the sister wikia is Winx Club Fanon Wikia…
Season 5 :D!
Aww men! This season is the most confused one @@!!! I don’t understand what both Nick & Rai mean! See… They said that Roxy is just a friend of the Winx (Official Winx FB), Roxy will just earn a minor role in this season (Molly C. Quinn’s official FB)… But in fact, Roxy’s appearance in 5th season is similar to Layla/Aisha’s (I hate calling her “Aisha”!) appearance in 3rd season…
And they told fans – us – that both Harmonix and Sirenix’s transformation sequences will be in 2D, but in fact, the leaked video just show us the 2D version of Harmonix and 3D version of Sirenix. The 2D version of Sirenix is hiden, or even may not exist! Moreover, I notice that the 5th season will be splited into 3 parts – my theory. First & second parts are Believix & Harmonix parts, the scenes will be in 2D, but the third part – Sirenix, will be in 3D. You can see it clearly via the new trailer & leaked video. When Tritannus poisons the ocean, it’s an underwater scene, but it’s not in 3D like Rai said, and when Bloom & Aisha hold somethings like their Water Stars – but spoken by Sen, they’re the Magical Stones, those scenes are 2D, too. But when the Winx fight agains the Trix & Tritannus in the trailer, it’s in 3D, and I can’t find any leaked official pictures show us the 2D version of Sirenix, all are fan-arts – made by fans!
One more thing created the “batte” between fans is fairies’ powers! Roxy earned Believix in season 4 with the same way when Bloom earned Enchantix in season 3. And most of fans don’t believe that Roxy IS a Believix fairy, but that’s okay, time will show ‘em… I think they think Roxy is a Winx (Charmix in Nick dub) fairy ‘cause her hair does not change the style & the length, and her outfit just only have the spring green color, this’s similar to Winx/Charmix fairies’ outfits, caused a lot of mistaken. And Nick are doing their best to prove ‘em… I appreciate Nick’s works recently, but I still show my hatred for their bad actions (changing the characters’ names, powers, ect…). Roxy is a Believix fairy, means she will earn Harmonix (of course, she can’t stay in Believix level forever!), and Sirenix, if the 7th “piscex” – the punny form of “pisces” or maybe originated from the word “pisc-“ =,=!!! – is hers! But this theory is contradictory with Molly’s answer above – Roxy is a minor character (like Mirta), she can’t earn new power… And even they don’t let her earn new powers, they must let her completes her Believix first!!! Roxy, finds someone who can believe in you like us LOL!
At least, now all Winx girls take their hair cut in civilan forms, so I don’t have to wish Roxy gets longer hair in civilan form anymore (see pictures below :D!), but I still hope she’ll get longer hair in fairy form, ‘cause even the Winx get hair cuts, their hair are getting longer from time to time @@!
Well well well… IDK about the truth Rai & Nick are hiding, but it must be very cool :D! In some leaked pictures, Roxy still stays at season 4’s outfit – even it’s cool, I still hope the creators will design new outfit for her. If not, she’ll be like Mirta – people surely remember Mirta’s outfit, right? It did not change after 3 seasons @@!
And I read in the old magazine of Official Winx Web that Nick are making the live action for Winx, and its name maybe “The lost princess”. Who’s that princess? Bloom, Stella, Layla/Aisha or Roxy? Or it possible is Tecna, Flora or Musa :D! Or a new character just appears in the live-action like Sailor Luna in Sailor Moon live-action :D? Why don’t you try the cast and tell us about that :P? And according to Molly, the 6th season’s scripts are still not written yet, so all things available on Internet are just rumors and (maybe) the creators’ ideas! How ever, I find many cool things about live-action ‘cause I just finished the live-action fan dub of Sailor Moon… I’m sorry, Keiko-san… My habit when voicing for Rei-chan is extremely like Mitchie-san’s voicing style @@!!!
I don’t deny when people said I’m disappointed with Sirenix… I admit that I’m disappointed – but just in some points, not all the whole Sirenix. To be honest, I think the Harmonix’s outfits should be named Sirenix – both Brittney and I mistook that :P! ‘Cause they have seashell tiaras/crowns, and the dresses are alike mermaids’ tail… And Sirenix is originated from sirens; sirens and mermaids both have tail, live in the ocean/underwater, and they use underwater/oceans’ stuffs @@! Sums up, I’m pleased with Harmonix. I was expected that Sirenix will let the Winx have glittered mermaids’ tails like the mermaid with awesome glittered cyan tail in Barbie – Modern Mermaid Tale 2 @@! I didn’t think that Sirenix just have only ballet tutu and scary leggings – but Flora & Musa’s leggings are cool… I knew that Sirenix is an ancient power, but I can’t believe it’s that… old & unfashionable @@! And I still don’t like when Bloom’s hair have some blue highlights… No match >.<!
I also feel unpleased when one of my favorite colors – purple is often chosen as the color power of the villains… It’s so unfair @@!!! Why don’t they choose another color like black or grey??? But the color of the girls’ clothes is white and cyan/light blue, it harmonize the hot of the summer when we’re watching the leaked video, and I have to say that they look really soothing and angel-like in those outfits :D!
And do you recognize? In both leaked transformations, the transformatitons are grouped as couple – have the alike transformation actions/sequences. Bloom & Stella, Flora & Musa, Tecna & Layla/Aisha… Just see compares below and you’ll see (pictures captured from the leaked videos)… Do Rai’s creators’s ideas are dry now? Harmonix’s compare:

What do you guys think so far??? I wonder if the 2D version of Sirenix appears or not, and Roxy’s transformations if she does receive new power? And will the Trix have their transformations or not? Do you know how did I feel when I know they would make the new seasons for Sailor Moon??? It’s hard to express these feelings just by words :P! Exciting? Yes, I’m a fan of Sailor Moon, but I don’t think the people in Sailor Moon Wikia will work well with me so I don’t work there anymore, just been there to know the news!
Joyfull? Sure!!! I watched Sailor Moon when I was just 2 or 3 years old. If sort from time, Sailor Moon is my very first anime after all! There’re many other feelings, but I also felt lucky :P! A friend of mine, who voices for Neptune – LOL! Watch the Japanese anime and you’ll see there’s an episode Mars and Neptune are set in a group, and they have opposite choice, but Neptune uses her life to protect Mars, and I appreciate her action xD!!! – said: “Có người điên rỗi hơi mới đào mồ ra làm hay làm lại!” (“Just only craziers have much free time dig the graves to do or re-do the series!” – I literatelly translate the whole sentence & her mind, too :P, and “dig the graves” is just a pun way in our country :D, it means the useless thing(s)/action(s), or bring back the bad result).
I totally didn’t agree with her words, so we made a deal/bet, in 10 years in the future, if they re-made or made the (new) series for Sailor Moon, I’d win, otherwise, she’d win – and I’m sure you can see the result :D! That’s why I always told myself never lose the hopes and the faith! Now I just wish if I had been born 1 year later @@!!! The entrance exams to college/university of mine will be held at the summer @@! How can I watch Sailor Moon >,<??? So unfair @@! My mom also told me she wanted me to sign in the university for police… Great! Forced me to being what I hate most! “Good mom” I’d ever had! Ridiculous!
Anyway, I wonder who will be the new villain(s)/friend(s)/ally??? And what’s the new power the senshi will earn? ‘Cause I think “Eternal” is similar to “Infinite”, shows the last… so it maybe all the senshi will show us their eternal forms… I always looking for ‘em in the old series! Too miss that the Stars season ended too soon! And they also made me down when Sailor/Princess Kakyuu’s transformation didn’t appear!!! I just hope they’ll do that in the new season(s).
How do you think, Sailor Moon’s fans??? Do you guys have any ideas about this??? Or any news? ‘Cause I don’t know much about the source pages for Sailor Moon… Unlike Winx Club have “Michael Winx Club”, “Believe In Winx”, ect… I can’t find the fansite(s) have the right news to read @@!
Mermaid Melody & Mew Mew Tokyo!
I don’t think I’ll have much things to talk about these 2 series so I merge 2 contents into 1. I just watch Mermaid Melody once (anime) and read it several times (manga), and that won’t give me have strong impression like Winx & SM. But this manga has great characters and wonderful story lines, and awesome transformation I laterly saw in the anime version, and Sara is the once-fellow mermaid – the live-action of SM also shows Mercury is an once-fellow senshi, ‘cause she becomes the enemy after Kunzite casted a dark spell on her, turns her into Dark Sailor Mercury, more evil & cruel and definitely prettier – don’t ask me why, many people have the same ideas with me!
One more things make me like – not love, love is the word I use for Winx & SM! – MM is it’s the first anime/manga about mermaid I ever read, and all the characters’ appearances are fully, but the series is just last for 2 seasons: season 1 fight again sirens/sea creatures that not mermaids =.=, season 2 fight again insects/flying creature (bat, moth, butterfly)… And the relationships – the triangle love – of Mitsuki Taro, Sara and Gaito can’t be explained by words! Let’s just say I’m lucky when I wasn’t chosen to be Sara, ‘cause she’s a powerful mermaid, or mer-princess, with a complex inner world… But I like her personalities.
Unlike MM, Mew Mew Tokyo’s characters’ appearances aren’t fully, and that receives a big minus to fans like me. I just read the manga and watch the anime once, and I can see clearly that 5 main characters appear in the 1st manga series, while the 6th main character appears in the 2nd manga series, and the 7th main character appears in the… video game, like Saturn. And maybe because the anime was made before the 2nd manga series & video game, so Berry-chan & Ringo-chan don’t appear in the anime. But I’m unpleased when they don’t make the new season(s) for these characters appear. Just like SM & Winx, what’s missing, we’re adding!
The transformations of these anime is quite good, or I dare to say they’re unique! But there’re some parts I really can’t understand. The clothes of SM, MM & MMT, unlike Winx – unique and different to the others, are having the uniform-nature… Even there’re some changes between each clothes, but they’re not that unique like Winx. So MMT is the shortest series I’d ever watched… It’s on the last-favorite list of mine… Its impression to me isn’t as big as MM. Haha, and do you notice that any anime/cartoon I watch often have a big girls’ group and awesome transformations LOL?
Tinker Bell
Like I said above, I also love Tinker Bell (3D animated cartoon of Disney), even it does not have awesome transformations… But the story lines, characters,… are good :D! To be honest, the fairies in this series need fairy dust to fly :P, while the Winx use ‘em to break Valtor’s marks/spells, active healing power, mini themselves, ect… and the sizes of Tinker Bell’s fairies are equal to pixies’ size in Winx Club, and Tinker Bell fairies grouped their power, like water fairies, tinker fairies, garden fairies, ect… and the awesome animals, insects which help the fairies very much…
And like the way the Earth fairies have their major fairies, the fairies in tinker bell’s world have their own head fairies, and both head fairies & normal fairies serve the ministers according the seasons: Spring Minister, Summer Minister, Autumn Minister and Winter Minister, they all serve their queen – Queen Clarion :D, like the other fairies serve Morgana (and laterly Nebula). Plus that the VAs (for all roles) do not change after seasons :D, some of them are Disney’s stars, too :D! And most of Disney’s stars are good!
The society in Tinker Bell’s world make people understand ‘em easier than Winx… I’m not make bad impression but maybe because of Tinker Bell and other fairies’ sizes make ‘em closer to the kids… But they’re both favorited by kids, right :P?
So far, my favorite character are Silvermist and Vidia :P! The only thing make me feel unpleased about this series is the role of Tinker Bell. It’s too big while the others’ roles are too small, even Tinker Bell is the main character. This’s similar to Bloom’s case in 3 first season of Winx Club, but Tinker Bell makes many mistakes and tries her best to fix ‘em, unlike Bloom, she makes no mistake. Moreover, the fairies’ & pets’ profiles on the Disney Fairies page are cute :D, and I believe that’s enough to attract fans :D!
I just glanced at the dramma/film/book version of Tinker Bell once so make sure that you won’t ask me about the dramma/film/book. I’m sorry but all thing I pay my attention for is the cartoon series. I don’t have time for dramma/film & don’t have enough money to buy the books.

Have I ever told you that I love Pokémon? Well, if no, now you know that :D! And this is just a small section so I just want to tell you guys that I’m enjoy making papercrafts from cute animals & pokémons I love :D! Voicing’s Q & A!!!
Since I moved my own page here, my friends often contact me here under the name of wikia contributors, and that makes me feel confused ‘cause IDK clearly who are they for exactly, I mean, I know they’re my friends, but IDK their names correctly ‘cause they’re all wikia contributors here @@! And some people asked me how do I voice for the characters, even just in fan dub? Below are my experiences, even I’m just an amateur and I think those are just work well with fan-dub, I hope you guys will appreciate them.
P/S: In my plan, I planned recording my voice – I now can speak Bloom, Flora, Musa, Roxy & Daphne’s voices (they’re all Rai dub’s voices, of course, and Daphne’s voice is in the 3D movies!); Rei-chan, Hotaru-chan’s voices (Japanese dub’s voices) – and share this with people here… But ‘cause I’m an Asian so my English speaking way is different than Americans or Europeans, and for Rei-chan & Hotaru-chan, I also have to copy Japanese/Japan people’s English speaking way, that is inconvenient for both you and I, so I canceled that ideas and use my blog to do that :P!
Items
Items – you’ll need them in your voicing progress:
- “Studio”: Of course you’ll need a studio. There are 2 way in working with studio: your own studio or a studio you have to pay money. With the 2nd kind of studio, you have to book the time first, then to that time, you’ll go in there and voice :D! If you’re late, they MAY give the room to others. And you’ll have to pay money for that. One more thing that maybe you can’t make the fan-dub version there ‘cause they’re credited @@! Your own “studio” isn’t hard to make, and you can enter there for free :D! More thing that there’ll be no more pressure like when you’re at the big studio. You just need to find a large room in a quiet house of house area/neighborhood (of any friends in that group, the more quiet the better!), and that room should be quiet, private (by making locker if it does not have and give the keys to group’s members), soundproof; put the items (see below) on a corner of the room, keep them tidy, you’ll make rack/shelf to contain them later. If it is not soundproof, use carpets, wallapers and stick them in both inside and ouside wall of the room. It’s a bit annoyed, but it’ll prevent the noisies from outside from your “studio”. I think you’ll not be pleased when you hear the video your group re-voiced and it’s full of noises, am I right?
- Microphones + monitors/screens: Of course, without them, you can’t do anything @@! You should make the fund and all the members will give some money on to buy them. If they’re too expensive, I think you should buy the best microphone and hang it at the center of the place you and your friends/team-mates will voice, but its height is enough so if can record the hard breath, moans, ect… when you guys are voicing; and 1 big screen/monitor, make a rack/shelf to place them above, at the center place, but higher than the microphone in order to let all people can see what they need to voice clearly!
- Headphones/earphones: Optional, having them will help you match your voice with the pre-voice of the official/original voice actor/actress of the original video(s). Remember not to let the sounds in the headphones/earphones on the big volume, the smaller the better!
- Videos: For fan-dub, I think you guys should prepare 3 videos. 1 video is called original video (don’t have any edit on that), and it is used to help the VA(s) match with the original VA’s voices/voice speeds. 1 video will be cleared all the voices inside it, but still keep the sounds (my advise is you should let it for the professional person/people doing that, ‘cause if you don’t know, you may clear all the sounds in the video @@!), that video will be encoded with your voice parts. The last video, you’ll use it to add virtual subtitles (don’t have to encode the subtitles). This video will help you voicing better, ‘cause you just need to look at the screen and read the scripts, instead of reading it from the papers. And ‘cause they’re just virtual subtitles, you can use the original video or the sounds-cleared video is OK! After finish voicing, delete the subtitles file.
- Softwares: They’re the most important things, along with microphones + monitors/screens. The necessary softwares you’ll need are: subtitles-making (easy to find and don’t have to buy, you can try aegisub), sounds-clearing (well, I don’t do that step so IDK what kind of that software for exactly – sorry!), and autotunes (I believe they’re really popular :D!). With subtitles-making softwares, their aim is said above. So does with sounds-clearing softwares. Autotunes softwares are used to turn a normal voice into a different voice, and I see they often come-along with a big mechan which IDK how to adjust :P. Like man-made voices or the voices too hard to say/speak if you don’t have the voice of the original VAs, like Ami-chan’s, Stella’s, Layla/Aisha’s, Dr. Heinz’s (Phineas & Ferb) voices :D! Volume-checking & adjusting software(s) – say later. And finally is encoder software(s). They’re used to encode – just simply understand encoder like you stick your voice parts forever with the video :D! – your voice parts with the video you prepared.
Preparations
Preparations for the voicing – if you can do any of ‘em, doing ‘em as giving a hand to help the whole project ;)! My advise is before you want to do anything below, there’s at least 1 person in your group studied about voicing and other things, that person will teach the other :D! My group is the same, at first, our works are messy… but now… well… much better :P! But I can’t tell you my friends’ names for exactly so just know them as… um… my friends =]]!
- Voice casting: The first and one of the most important steps. The voice casts/VAs should be the members of your group, but if your group currently has no members, you need to invite some people to join in. They should be your closer friends… But for sometimes, even all the friends/acquaintances/allies you know don’t have the necessary voices, you’ll need to ask your classmates/your friends’ friends, and the worst cases are your/your friends’ frienemies/enemies. For friends/acquaintances/allies, they’re the people you guys will have good impressions, so it’s very easy to work with ‘em. But classmates/your friends’ friends, that depends on the other members. If the whole group have good impression, it’s okay, but if anyone in the group dislikes/hates those people, they’d better be splited, one of ‘em will voice at the time the other is busy, let them stay away from the other as far as you can. For the worst cases, I suggest you’d better try to be friends with ‘em… And if you can’t do that, try to use autotunes or vocaloid to create the necessary voices.
- Clearing voices: Like I said, I know nothing about this so a friend of mine handle it. But it needs the sounds-clearing software(s).
- Finding scripts: Of course, nobody can voice anything without scripts. You can find the scripts via the websites on Internet, or listening to the videos to make the scripts, or find the scripts on Internet, then listening to the videos to complete them.
- Printing the scripts: After the scripts are completed, print & copy them in papers, then give them to the VAs. This step is not really convenient, it also costs money. The plus point for this step is if the screen is too far and the font size is too small, it can help the VAs know what to say… And to save your money, make a rack at the center, take the paper in there so all the VAs can see ‘em.
- Making virtual subtitles: A resolution for the step/way above. You cost no money, but you’ll cost a little time for that, and subtitles-making software(s), of course :D. In my group, each person completes their character(s)’ scripts, with different colors. Making subtitles is simple. You just need to make sure that you have the scripts (without any mistakes), then listen to the video, set the time the character(s) begin(s) to talk, and the time the character(s) stop(s) talking, type what he/she says on the big blank, click Ok. Easy, right? Remember to do the large font size so the VAs can see them easily :D!
- Autotunes: You just only can do that when you’re not a VA or you’d already completed your voicing part(s). When the VA of the character(s) who need to autotune the voice, you adjust the software(s) before he/she talks and stop the software(s) when he/she stops talking, but you have to make sure that it won’t infuence to anyone’s voice parts. Like making virtual subtitles, this step requires a perfect timer, so if you can’t do that, you’d better not join, ‘cause the virtual can be checked again by experienced translator(s), and the translator(s) will fix the wrong time, but if you set the wrong time for autotunes, people’ll have to cancel all the voice parts and re-start from the beginning once again. The tips here is just available for home-building “studio”, that you should place the screen/monitor at the place both autotuners & VAs can see it – mean the autotuners will just see the backs of VAs (LOL), that’ll help a lot.
- Volume-checking: A small edit but it’s very important! Sometimes the VAs speak too loud or too small and that can’t match with the scene/background of the scripts in the video, you’ll have to check, which part(s) is loud and which part(s) is small. If it’s loud, lower the volume; if it’s small, higher the volume. This is extremely important to me, ‘cause when I voice for Roxy or Rei, sometimes I have to shout with a really big volume, and that is real, but too loud, so my friends often have to smaller – a little – the volume, or like when I voice for Daphne, the way her VA voices for her in the movies is extremely like whispering, so I acted like that (LOL!), but that’s a bit smaller if compare to my friends’ voice parts, so they have to higher the volume… They told me along with can’t control the sound effects & emotions, I now also can’t control the speaking volume =]]!!! This need volume-checking & adjusting software(s) :D! But they’re very easy to use
- Encode: It is final-edit. This step will encoder the voice parts into the videos you guys prepared… And for the best quality, as the record time, you guys should check the volume as normal as VAs’ speaking volumes, then when you encode, switch ‘em to the highest (or higher) to match with the video… I don’t do this step so… =))! This requires the encoder software(s).
Okay, now is the part you guys will enjoy with your fancy/passion – voicing xD!!!
Pre-voicing
First of all, I call it pre-voicing step, you’ll have to act like a voice actor/actress. How do you do that? Here are the tips which I find extremely necessary:
- Practice voicing EVERYDAY, yes, everyday. Choose your favorite characters in books, comics, or movies/drammas, ect… And practice. When you’re good with that character, choose another one(s) and keep practicing! Remember that choose your favorite character(s) when you practice. Let’s just think that, choose your favorite one(s), you’ll do that better than voicing for the one(s) you don’t like/hate.
- Keep your throat cool. You doing that by drink at least 7 big glasses/cups of water before you start voicing/practicing, and drink at least 7 big glasses/cups of waters when your voicing/practicing is over. Remember that 7 is the at least number, not the biggest one. And you should drink when you’re going to start voicing in a few minutes soon. I don’t think you and your friends will feel pleased when you pause the progress and ask for going outside, that could kill your friends’ emotions. One more thing that drinking water will help you feel calmer.
- Spend time listening/watching the movies/cartoons, ect… you’re going to voice. See how the (voice) actor/actress acts for your character(s), you’ll learn tons of things from them.
- Listening to ballad/sad music and reading romantic novels as much as you can. That’ll give you some emotions to the hard-voicing parts like crying, or confused, embarassed, ect…
- Don’t forget to record your voicing part when you’re practicing. You’ll need them somedays.
- Sleep at least 9 hours at the night. Don’t stay up too late and get up too soon, that’ll create a bad influence to your voice.
- When you have a cough, that mean you’re ill/sick, stop/delay the voicing project immediately. You’re stubborn and keep voicing when you’re ill/sick, if it’s light, you’ll just be speechless for days, but if it’s serious, you’ll lose your voice. Again, when you lose your voice, if it’s light, you voice may come back after a few weeks (rarely)/months/years, and if it’s serious, your voice will never come back. Believe me, when I had a journey to Da Lat, I had a cold, and I coughed a lot. Then my voices changed, it sound like boys’ voice – now understand how deep my voice was at that moment? – but when I returned home and my cold still not be better, I accept the request voicing for Haruka (Sailor Uranus of Sailor Moon series) with that deep voice @@ – temporary. You know? 2 more day, I was completely speechless… But I wisely stopped before something bad could happen to my voice xD.
Voicing
It seems that you pass the things I tell you above with speed :D! You’re great! Now, are you ready for the real voicing? Below are mainly my experiences and advises, not much professional languages :D!
- Like I said above, drinking water :D!
- Learnt by heart all the scripts belong to your character(s). Of course, this is optional, but it’ll be a great preparation, it helps you not feeling so sudden when your character(s)’ scripts appear suddenly.
- Prepare for the voice(s) of the character(s) you’re going to voicing :D! Each character often have different voice.
- Pay attention at your character(s). Focus in that.
- Make sure your clothes, hair, ect… at their places, and you should use the mosquito repellent. I felt extremely annoyed once, when we’re voicing, and a person – she’s my friend’s friend and I had many bad impressions with her, had a ponytail but the tie was losen laterly so she had to spend time gathering her hair into a bun and she completely forgot about voicing, and her hair was dirty, that makes her feel itch, so she scratched her hair when she was voicing. And she was also bitten by the mosquitos so… And the noise were in the video and we had to re-voice… And I had a corse of math and I was gonna be late, so the video was delayed ‘till… next month’s Sunday, the day I had much free time to voice… I hope you’ll understand how important this step is.
- Take a deep breath when you stand at the place of the VA – or before voicing, like Roxy did when she was going to tell her father that she’s a fairy. DON’T put any pressure on yourself. Relax. Around you are your friends, and they may be worrying, just like you. And don’t worry if you can’t match perfectly with the original VA’s speaking speed. Soon or late a few second does not a big problem. If you just waste your time worried at that small mistake, you’ll miss the other turn when you character(s) say(s) ‘cause you’d lost your attention.
- You can ask for re-voicing if you think your voicing is not good.
- If you think it’s hard to voice with your friends, you can ask them voicing alone – of course just only you. Doing that way, there’ll be no more pressure, and you can re-voice anytime ‘cause it’s just only your voicing part :D!, but it’s hard to show emotions in hard-voicing parts. This is just often required when you voice for 2 or more characters.
- Remember that the microphone(s) will record all the sounds in the voicing parts, even the noise, so try not to make the unnecessary noise when you’re voicing.
- The hardest parts are showing emotions’ breaking out. Like crying when somethings too sad happened, or laughing when getting compliments or somethings too happy happened, ect… With crying, you don’t have to cry (except you have the same feelings with your character, but this way will make you voice part sounds realer :D!), just use the sounds, like the sniff noisies, just mainly snufle through your nose, “hic hic” or “huc huc” sounds in your nose & throat, lengthen them will make them sounds realer :D! About laughing part, you can do that alone/by yourself, but most of those sounds sound deceitful @@! So you’d better receive the helps from your closest friend(s). He/she/they will tickle you, and that’ll make your laughing sounds sound realer. Or you can do that via remembering a funny experience. And about surprised parts, that’s not too hard to make the sounds of this kind of emotion, but some people don’t know the tricks to do that :D! Most sounds use on this trick are “ha”, “huh”, “eh”, “oh” in high tones, and speak/say them with incomplete-muted spirant sounds in your throat. For anger, just simply make the “grrrrrrrrrr” sounds in your throat. There’re many tricks available on YouTube, you can search them there.
- Try to find the joyness/interesting from your character(s). Even voicing for hero(es), heroine(s), or villain(s), you need emotions. Without emotions, you’ll kill both your character(s) and your voicing skills.
- Feel free when voicing ‘cause your speaking volume can be adjust later to fit the video :D!
- Be both yourself and your character when you’re voicing, I know it’s hard to understand, but just show your voicing part with your voicing spirit of that character, don’t force youself follow the original VA, even you admire he/she. Forcing yourself and when you can’t match with his/her parts, you’ll feel down & frustrated quickly.
- When you read the scripts, read ‘em slowly but clearly, just need to match the pattern of the character(s), you don’t have to 100% match with the original VA(s). ‘Cause when you voice for a brand-new series which is still not revealed out, like Alejandra, Morgan, Molly, Amy, Romi, Keke and other VAs voice for Winx Club, there’ll be only subtitles and definitely-muted video =.=! There’re no helps with the voice speeds like the released videos @@! Like 2 examples below – I captured them from the leaked Harmonix & season 5’s trailer video (of link 1). You can click on that to see ‘em at a bigger size. Pay your attention at what I squared by red ink :D!
So sorry for that show-off :D – just 2 pictures but I use gallery codes :D! See? First is the ordinal number of the script/sentence, next is the name of speaker/character, then is “:”, separate the script line into 2 parts: introduce & content, finally is the scripts, and sometimes is too hard to see so there’ll be a big paper tape in order to help the VAs see them clearlier… And the videos are soundless, of course. So if you really want to be a true VA, not amateur, keep practicing and take a course of voicings in order to study about that, you’ll be successful soon… It’s too miss that I don’t have any chances to study ‘cause all the schools are available in a different city which is very far from mine =.=!!!
