Giwin is a character featured exclusively within the Winx Club Comic Series. His first and only appearance is in Issue 6: The Swamp Monster in a flashback that Stella witnesses through a spell she used on the carving of a boat she and Prince Sky found by the lake shore.
Appearance[]
He has fair skin, black spiky hair, and grey eyes. His outfit is different shades of green, his shirt covers his neck and he wears boots.
Personality[]
He is adventurous and cares deeply for his girlfriend Miriel, whom he tells not to worry about him as he thought he was sure to come back.
Pre-Series[]

Sometime during his youth, Giwin met and fell for a young woman named Miriel. During their time together, the two would often ride around the lake on a boat. Unfortunately, Giwin's time with Miriel began to come to a close once Giwin's father arranged for him to be sent away to school.
For their last day together, Giwin took Miriel on their last boat ride together. Once they reached the pier, Giwin tries to rush her out as they do not have much time left until Miriel throws herself into his arms, unable to think of what her life will be like without him. Giwin tries assuring Miriel that their time apart will not be forever and that his father even promised to bring him back to her once he finished school, but Miriel still fears that other obstacles may come between them. Giwin then cradles Miriel's face in his hands as he insists that he would never be able to forget about her even if he tried and assures her that their time apart will go by quickly. He then promises that their reunion will last forever before carving his and Miriel's first initials onto the side of the boat that allowed them to meet each other.
Afterwards, Giwin takes Miriel in his arms one last time as he says his goodbyes while Miriel pleads for him not to go.

#6: The Swamp Monster[]
Giwin is seen in this issue through the memory of the carving on a boat that Stella and Prince Sky find on the old docks near the White Horse.
Once Sky leaves to find the owner of the docks, Stella uses her magic to see the memories behind the carved initials, which allows her to witness an emotional parting between Giwin and his lover, Miriel. Seeing their farewells moves Stella to tears until Sky returns as the boat's new owner after the owner of the docks sold it to him, and even arranged a place for him to work on restoring it.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown if Giwin ever reunites with Miriel but, given the condition that their boat is in by the events of the series, it is implied that he was never able to reunite with his beloved.
