Super Sue

SuperSue is Stella's portable sewing machine. It appears in World of Winx.

Overview[]

This portable sewing machine is seen whenever Stella designs her clothes, her friends', and any relevant clients (e.g. Annabelle). The bobbins and needles inside the machine is not visible. The sewing can be conducted on either the bottom left or bottom right corner.

Appearance[]

SuperSue closely resembles Stella's fairy dust bottle in deep sparkling fuchsia with gold trimming on each corner and a light pink base with a deep pink heart in the middle where Stella presses a button to start sewing fabrics.

World of Winx[]

Season 1[]

Stella introduces her sewing machine to the Wow! audience in "The Talent Thief".

In "Stylist Wanted," Stella uses it to create a couture outfit, with Musa as her model, in a competition against Sophie. She s able to prove her talents to Sophie which then allows the latter to open up to her.

Stella then creates dog sitter outfits for the Winx to use as a disguise to try and reach their next talent, Madelyne.

Season 2[]

In "Peter Pan's Son," Stella credits the device with the fact that the Winx can disguise themselves as door-to-door pastry chefs while looking for Matt.

In "Fashion School Thrills," Stella pulls out the device and presents it as a method to provide disguises for herself, Aisha, and Tecna.

The Winx and Matt need a disguise to enter Sebastian's Villa as that is where the Barrie Sword is currently being kept. Stella uses the sewing machine to create art collectors disguise to infiltrate the villa.

Comics[]

Season 1[]

Stella with SuperSue.

Stella takes out SuperSue in Issue 158: The Charity Race to give Bloom her race car driver outfit. The first design, although stylish was not practical nor safe. For the second one, with safety in mind it was far too much as it was more of an astronaut suit. The third time however, was perfect.

In this issue, SuperSue manifests the design onto the subject of interest without Stella needing to use actual fabric.

Trivia[]

  • Its name is a pun on the incorrect pronunciation of "sew".
